I resigned today. In just over a month I'll be moving to Midrand to work at Vodaworld writing software for Vodacom's prepaid systems (or so I've been told).
Resigning wasn't as painful as I thought it might be, probably because my Team Lead already expected it anyways. He seems more excited about it than I do, although I don't know if thats because he's finally rid of me :( Seriously tho, he knew I haven't been happy for a while and figures the change will be good for me. I think so too.
Except now I have to figure out where to stay and how to take my tv up there. I figure I'll rent for about 6 months and use that time to get an idea of what's where and look for a place to buy. Also I'm going to have to figure out change of address stuff too. I don't even know what my new address is going to be. This should be interesting.

Resigning isn't the end of the world yet. If we thought that were no longer happy worth what were doing then we must learn to give it up and strive for something better to come. Resigning might be painful to some but it is not yet the end of the world because we always have a choice and that is to do what we think we can in order to surpass those ordeal.
The best of luck my friend . Remember life is vertical, You'll do fine my friend
Hey congrats dude. Awesome that you'll be living in midrand and working right at vodaworld. I used to live just off lever road, about 1km from vodaworld :) Good luck with the traffic on lever road in the morning if you leave too late :P
